Class will be held at Village Glass, 4153 Paris Road, Columbia, MO. 

Beginning Stained Glass

Learn the basic techniques of cutting glass, applying copper foil and soldering. You can choose from a variety of patterns to create a small panel with eight to ten pieces of colored glass. No experience necessary. All tools and supplies are included in cost of class.

Beginning Lead Came 

A beginning class based on the original method for constructing stained glass windows. Students will learn to cut glass and lead, assemble, solder and weatherproof a simple, prairie style panel.  All materials and use of tools are included. No experience necessary. 

Three consecutive Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

October 10th, 17th & 24th, 2026.

Taught by Molly Fiegel. 

Cost: $215.00 

 

Physical Requirements:

Students must be able to navigate stairs to the upper level or notify us in advance for accommodation. Although there can be some sitting during the courses, often there will be long periods of standing in order to complete certain tasks. This type of class is not appropriate for people with back, neck or shoulder problems, carpal tunnel syndrome in hands/arms or who cannot stand for periods at a time. Stained glass classes are not suggested for pregnant women. Closed toe shoes are required.
