STAINED GLASS: COPPER FOIL

This three week class will teach you all the basics. You will walk away with a stained glass panel and the skills to create larger pieces on your own. The cost of the class will include the instruction, the use of tools and all the “expendables”, including scrap glass, foil, chain and came. Pack a small lunch for a midday break, and don’t forget to wear closed- toe shoes.

Three consecutive Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., with a break for lunch. September 9, 16 and 23. Taught by Molly Fiegel.

STAINED GLASS: LEAD CAME

At last, by popular demand, a beginning class based on the original method for constructing stained glass windows! Students will learn to cut glass and lead, assemble, solder and weatherproof a simple, prairie style panel. Liability waiver required.

Four consecutive Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., with a break for lunch. October 7, 14, 21 and 28. Taught by Molly Fiegel.

LAMPWORKING

Come and “play with FIRE”!. A two-day course in the basics of melting glass with a 2000 degree torch. Use the techniques to make beads, marbles and various glass items. Your fee covers the materials, instruction and fuel to make several items over the torch. Lampworking kits will be available for $150.00 should you choose to continue on your own. Please wear closed toe shoes.

FUSED JEWELRY

Learn to cut glass and create fused glass pendants. This one session class will cover the basics of glass fusing and several techniques for creating unique glass jewelry. Some glass and one kiln firing are included. Jewelry findings will be applied after firing.

FUSED GLASS HOLIDAY ORNAMENTS

During this single session workshop, you will assemble several ornaments to be kiln fired which can then be used on a tree, in a window or on a special holiday package. You may choose either
