Who We Are: Village Glass Works was established in 1976, making it Columbia's oldest continuously operating stained glass studio. Examples of our work are found throughout the city and in many other towns and cities across the state and the country.
In addition to custom stained glass, we specialize in the restoration of leaded glass windows and lamps, in slumping and fusing glass in the kiln, in decorative sandblasting and in the sale of tools and supplies to the glass professional and the hobbyist.
Classes are available each semester in glass beadmaking, copper foil, lead came, fusing and mosaics.
We are located on North Tenth Street in a Victorian house listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Please visit us to see what's new in the world of glass or to take an informal tour of one of the last old Italianate style homes left in Columbia.
